This project involved the construction of three structural extensions to Mt Druitt Hospital for a new 11 bed Recovery, MRI suite and Pre-admissions Clinic. The works also included a complete services upgrade and refurbishment of the existing Stage 3 Recovery, Operating Theatre and Extending Day Only wards. All works were successfully undertaken around a live operational environment, at times that did not inconvenience the hospital.

This $12.0 Million project involved the construction of a “New” Hotel on a greenfield site. The Prince Hotel is especially significant as it was a new build project for Fugen, involving the construction of a brand hotel, the first in many years for the Sutherland Shire.

This project involved the construction of a new Business Studies Centre, First Aid Clinic and Annex. The Annex structure connects the Business Studies Centre to the existing Main School Building. The new two-storey building was built to the same design style as the existing main building of the College. The ground floor consists of classrooms and student amenities, whilst the first floor includes classrooms, Old Boys room, kitchen and bar area.

This project involved the refurbishment to the existing operating theatre, addition of two (2) new operating theatres and extension to allow for a new three (3) stage recovery ward. The recovery ward includes a 13 x bed stage 1 recovery, 3 x recliner stage 2 recovery and 8 x chair stage 3 recovery. In addition to this there were also upgrades to the nurse’s station and staff kitchen and amenities.

The works involved at Crows Nest Substation included the demolition of an existing office building and the construction of a basement which included oil tanks, flame traps and cable pits as well as a ground floor level with GIS room and two transformer bays. The substation improved its architectural aesthetics by installing a concrete precast panel wall façade system, louvers and metal roofing.

This project involved the Design and Construction of a special purpose hostel type aged care development for the Marist Brothers, which was built on the site of redundant tennis courts and a heritage cottage. The development consisted of a basement underground car park and two levels of individual accommodation for sixteen people. The complex included a communal kitchen, laundry facilities, lounge and dining areas, workshop and hobby room, outdoor terrace and an internal courtyard.

This project involved an ongoing series of works for this client and included the refurbishment of levels 6 & 9 to create new areas for recording equipment data, wet laboratories, common rooms, conference rooms and services. The refurbishment of the cafeteria and external balcony below on level 8 took place while the building was still occupied. Many items were redesigned to allow them to fit into the good lift and be reused in the newly created space.
