Fugen Constructions was awarded the contract to deliver a major refurbishment of the Kinross Woolshed Hotel, a historic and well-loved venue located in Albury, on the New South Wales and Victorian border. This project marks Fugen’s fifth collaboration with Pub Funds Pty Ltd and will see the transformation of the venue into a modern hospitality and entertainment destination.

Designed by Techne Architecture and Interior Design, the refurbishment will elevate both the function and appeal of the Kinross Woolshed, ensuring it continues to serve as a key social hub for locals and a must-visit spot for travellers exploring regional NSW.

Scope of Works Includes:

• A six-lane 10-pin bowling alley
• Upgraded children’s playground
• Permanent live music stage
• New gaming room and sports bar
• Refreshed deck area with outdoor bar
• New commercial kitchen, function rooms, and bistro spaces
• Fully upgraded bathroom amenities
• New beer garden
• Façade and roof upgrades
• Comprehensive landscaping and carpark works

Construction was staged across two phases to allow the venue to remain operational throughout the refurbishment. Upon completion of Stage 1, our client opted to shut down the venue completely to fast-track the remaining works.

This extensive upgrade delivered a fresh, vibrant, and multi-use venue designed to support hospitality, family recreation, and live events. With its blend of entertainment facilities and modern design, the new-look Kinross Woolshed Hotel has become one of the region’s standout venues.
