The Kinross Woolshed Hotel, a longstanding landmark located in Albury on the New South Wales/Victorian border, is set to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment. Designed by Techne Architecture and Interior Design, this project will be Fugen Constructions’ fifth partnership with Pub Funds Pty Ltd, and aims to modernise and enhance the hotel’s facilities, ensuring it remains a premier destination for locals and visitors alike.

The refurbishment will include the construction and upgrade of the following:

• Venue expansion to include a six lane, 10-pin bowling facility
• Upgraded playground
• Permanent stage for live music and events
• New gaming room and sports bar
• New look deck area including deck bar
• Commercial kitchen, function and bistro spaces
• New bathroom amenities throughout
• Beer garden
• External façade and roof upgrades
• Landscaping and carpark

Construction will be delivered in a live environment across two stages, allowing the venue to continue trade throughout the works. Prior to Stage 2, Fugen will establish a temporary gaming room to ensure continuous revenue from gaming activities.

This refurbishment is set to transform the venue into a modern, versatile space that caters to a diverse range of activities and events. Upon completion, guests will enjoy state-of-the-art entertainment, dining, and function facilities, all within a revitalised and inviting environment.

The award of this project is a testament to Fugen’s capability in executing complex, large-scale refurbishments across regional NSW.
