In our 16th collaboration with St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill, Fugen delivered the construction of a new memorial, combining reinforced concrete and sandstone cladding. The design, characterised by a loose cubic form and spherical shape, was designed to symbolise the school’s late 1800s buildings.

Initially planned to be constructed using solid sandstone, Fugen’s innovative solution to construct the memorial using off-form concrete resulted in substantial savings of over $200,000 and a reduction of 4 weeks in on-site construction time.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens and bench seating, the memorial stands as a testament to Fugen’s expertise, showcasing our ability to deliver creative construction solutions whilst maintaining the original design intent.
