Fugen Constructions were engaged to deliver The Mary Ellen Hotel refurbishment, one of Newcastle’s most iconic pubs. The project was conducted across two stages allowing the hotel to continue operating. The venue’s incredible transformation includes new facilities and finishes throughout. The interior has been accented with different shades of green, warm timber, exposed ceilings and dapple lighting. During stage one we commenced with a new Public Bar and Gaming Room. During stage two a Beer Garden (Terrace Bar) with an operable roof, double-sided Fireplace, Bistro, Kitchen and indoor Kids Area were completed.
