Fugen Constructions is currently delivering Stage 1 of the Sussex Inlet Tavern refurbishment, with works now underway on site and marking our 2nd project with the client.

The project, valued at approximately $2.7M, involves the refurbishment of the existing public bar and lounge, along with the construction of a new main entrance, gaming area, bottle shop, and amenities.

Delivering works within a live hospitality environment presents several challenges, particularly in maintaining safe access for patrons and staff while construction progresses. To manage this, works are being carefully staged and programmed to minimise disruption and ensure the ongoing operation of the venue.

Coordination with the client, consultants, and subcontractors remains a key focus, with all activities planned to maintain programme certainty while working within the constraints of an operational site.
