Fugen Constructions has been engaged to deliver the 3TP Level 2 Angiography Expansion at Macquarie University Hospital. The project will involve the decommissioning and demolition of existing facilities, followed by the construction of a new Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab), Transoesophageal Echocardiogram (TOE) room, staff amenities, hold and recovery bays, and the refurbishment of the sterile stock room.

The works will be delivered within a live hospital environment, requiring careful planning, coordination and stakeholder management to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained and hospital operations continue without disruption. Through a staged delivery approach, the project will provide upgraded clinical facilities that enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver specialised cardiac care.
