Fugen Constructions was engaged to deliver the construction of the new Open Support essential support accommodation. The project involved the disconnection and make safe of existing services, demolition of an existing single-story structure and construction of a purpose-designed, two-storey support accommodation Centre featuring: –

• Two communal living areas, complete with meeting rooms, a kitchenette, and accessible amenities.
• Shared outdoor green spaces and car park.
• Eight individual one and two-bedroom units, each equipped with an ensuite and kitchenette.

Constructed over a nine-month period, the completion marks a significant milestone for both Open Support and St Vincent’s Clinic. This facility will allow them to expand their reach and provide safety, aid, and self-sufficient living to an additional 110 women and children each year.
