The Coast Golf Club Refurbishment (Under Construction)

Client: Coast Golf & Recreation Club Ltd
Value: $600,000.00

Fugen Constructions has commenced refurbishment works at The Coast Golf Club, upgrading the Club’s outdoor dining and hospitality facilities in one of Sydney’s most spectacular coastal settings.

Located above Little Bay with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, The Coast Golf Club is situated on the heritage-listed former Prince Henry Hospital site, with origins dating back to the late 19th century. Today, the Club is recognised as one of Sydney’s leading coastal golf destinations.

Fugen’s involvement commenced during the early planning and design phase, working closely with The Coast Golf Club and Group N Architects to develop the client’s initial concept into a practical and cost-effective solution. Fugen also assisted with the Development Application process, coordinating with planning, heritage and compliance consultants to help secure project approval ahead of construction.

The project will upgrade the Club’s outdoor hospitality spaces through the refurbishment of the existing veranda and dining pavilion, including new roofing, flooring and balustrades, an extension to the eastern deck, improved pedestrian access and landscape works.

A key focus of delivery is maintaining the ongoing operation of both The Coast Golf Club and Henry’s Bistro throughout construction. Through careful staging, stakeholder coordination and sequenced works, Fugen will minimise disruption while ensuring a safe and efficient construction process.

Fugen is proud to be contributing to the ongoing evolution of this iconic coastal destination, helping create an improved experience for members, guests and visitors.
